Job summary

Memory Care Center at Emerald in Claremore, OK is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Nursing team. The CMA administers medications, monitors residents’ health, and helps maintain a safe, compassionate environment for all residents.

This full-time, hourly role offers an evening shift from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for flexibility. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a current CMA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Current CMA certification required by Oklahoma regulations.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: administer prescribed meds per physician orders and document properly.
• Resident Monitoring: observe and document vital signs and reactions, inform nursing staff.
• Health and Safety: maintain clean med storage and follow infection control procedures.
• Resident Support: provide compassionate assistance with residents' needs and preferences.
• Communication: coordinate with nurses, doctors, and families about med-related changes.
