Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure manuals and directions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them dust-free.
• Remove dirt, dust, and debris from walls, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and store chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report resident safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping or Nursing leadership.
