Job summary

Mountain Valley of Cascadia in Kellogg, Idaho, is seeking a dependable housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow infection control standards, handle linens and waste, and report maintenance concerns while working closely with residents, families, and teammates to ensure comfort and a home-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility spaces
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
• Safely use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
• Handle linens and waste according to facility procedures
• Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Help create an environment where residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home
