Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living in Washington is seeking a Memory Care- Caregiver (HCA/CNA) for the day shift. You will support residents with ADLs, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment.

This role requires a high school diploma, caregiving experience, and current First Aid/CPR and food handler certifications; strong communication and empathy are essential. Weekend availability is required, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, preferably in senior care.
• Completion of required caregiver training and certifications (if applicable).
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a special interest in working with seniors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with resident mobility as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Current First Aid and CPR card.
• Current Food Handlers card.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide meal preparation and support.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe movements.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear documentation of care and observations.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff for cohesive care.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and crises.
• Weekend availability required. PT AM 8 hours.
