Job summary

Shalom West is a Memory Care community in Colorado that invites caring professionals to join a team focused on compassion, connection, and purpose. The role covers caring for residents with memory loss, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Wage range is $19.29–$21.00 per hour, with shifts from 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, and 10PM-6AM. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least six months’ related experience.
• Must maintain first aid certification and CPR in accordance with state regulations.
• Training or willingness to train in dementia care practices (validation, redirection, and engagement strategies).

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitors health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Promotes resident engagement and participation in activities.
• Communicates with residents’ families to support well-being and care coordination.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information and adheres to policies.
