Position Details

Part-time: All shifts available
Full-time: 3rd shift available

Responsibilities
  • Provide dementia care, including assistance with ADLs, engagement, and communication, following individual service plans.
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring, encouraging independence.
  • Participate in team meetings and know residents' life stories and preferences.
  • Serve meals, encourage proper nutrition, and document changes in residents' eating habits.
  • Lead engagement programs and promote socialization among residents.
  • Maintain accurate resident records and report health or behavioral changes.
  • Assist with medication administration as permitted by state law.
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment and respond promptly to resident requests.
  • Monitor resident safety and whereabouts, and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; experience with older adults with dementia preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia, especially Alzheimer's, is preferred.
  • State certification may be required, depending on regulations.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks.
  • Interaction with residents, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Occasional evenings, weekends, on-call, and travel may be required.
Salary Range

$17.00 - $19.50 per hour.
