Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a dedicated Caregiver for Ivy Living memory care communities in California. You will assist residents with ADLs, maintain dignity, safety, and confidentiality, and support daily activities as outlined in care plans.

You will respond promptly to residents’ needs, communicate changes to a supervisor, and help foster teamwork across departments while ensuring a safe environment and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass background check and health screenings including TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may apply per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Respond promptly while maintaining residents' dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report observed changes in residents to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
