Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a Memory Care Administrator to lead the community's operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to Compass policies while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care that enhances life quality.

You will supervise caregiver staff, coordinate with the Wellness Team, manage service plans and charting, and drive resident satisfaction and occupancy within budget.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in a related field preferred.
  • License in good standing if required by State Licensing Authority or willingness to secure licensure within six months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operation of the community while ensuring quality care.
  • Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate caregiver staff for residents' care.
  • Coordinate with Wellness Team to plan and assign Care Partner duties.
  • Monitor day-to-day work, supervise and educate staff on standards.
  • Coordinate housekeeping duties with the housekeeping dept.
  • Perform duties of a medication aide or Care Partner when needed.
  • Complete initial paperwork for new residents and audit elder charts.
  • Oversee service plan process, update plans, and schedule quarterly meetings.

What You'll Do

The Memory Care Administrator leads the overall operation of the community. The Memory Care Administrator is responsible for assuring compliance with government regulations and Compass Senior Living policies and procedures. Elder's family and team members' satisfaction is key in maintaining extraordinary standards of service, quality, and maximum occupancy while meeting and/or exceeding financial goals within the established budgetary guidelines.

As a Memory Care Administrator, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

  • You will hire, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate caregiver staff to ensure residents' highest quality of care.
  • You will work directly with the Wellness Team and Administrator to plan and assign work duties and assignments for the Care Partners.
  • You will monitor the day-to-day work provided by the Care Partners, supervising, mentoring, suggesting, and educating the staff on proper work standards.
  • You will coordinate the housekeeping duties with the housekeeping department.
  • You will perform the duties of a medication aide or Care Partner when needed.
  • You will complete initial paperwork on all new residents and routinely audits elder charts to ensure paperwork is complete and filed correctly.
  • You will monitor and implement the service plan process, including the interim service plan. This includes updating service plans on a routine and timely basis and scheduling and facilitating service plan meetings quarterly with elders, team members, and families.
