Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.85/hr

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years experience with an adult population developing activities; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Knowledge of recreational therapy or activity programming for residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
  • Relevant state certifications.
  • Ability to work various schedules and shifts.
  • Ability to lead Life Guidance programs and develop service plans.
  • Ability to offer diversified recreational activities with supervision.
  • Involvement in planning and implementing daily activities, including those for residents confined to rooms.
  • Engagement skills to motivate residents and encourage participation.
  • Ability to greet and include new residents in activities.
  • Experience in planning community events and decorating for seasons and holidays.
  • Support in community census building initiatives.
  • Record-keeping skills for activities and resident participation.
  • Assist in enlisting volunteers for activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
