Job summary

Oakmont of Westpark, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care. This full-time role supports organizing engaging activities for residents, promoting independence and quality of life while aligning with company values.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, events, and excursions; communicating with residents and families; maintaining safety; and driving community vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing activities and excursions for Traditions Memory Care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
