Silverado is seeking a Part Time Resident Engagement Assistant (PM) in Bellingham, Washington. You will help plan and lead daily activity programs, organize memory enrichment activities, and support therapy sessions to enhance residents' daily lives.

The role requires empathy, reliability, and teamwork, with paid training provided. This position offers a part-time schedule (PM shift) and a pay range of $21–$25 USD hourly, reflecting the organization’s commitment to quality care and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communication in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.

• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
