Activities Assistant

What will you do and how will you make a difference?

• Make a difference in residents' lives through care and compassion.
• Be a positive teammate, helping onboard new staff.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their well-being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
• Motivate residents to take an active role in their health and wellness.
• Organize activities based on residents' backgrounds, needs, and interests.
• Recruit, train, and recognize volunteers to expand the activity program and maximize resident participation.
• Involve families, the community, and volunteers to enhance participation and residents' well-being.

Requirements

• Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; willingness to obtain CNA certification within six months of employment.
