Job summary

Aquatech in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Development and Membrane Production to lead the development and production of FO membranes and related technologies. The role involves process testing, engineering support, field piloting, and collaboration with sales for new applications; on-site work is required in Albany, Oregon.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or chemical engineering degree with advanced degree preferred and experience in RO/FO membranes and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree (MS/PhD) preferred, or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with reverse osmosis (RO) or forward osmosis (FO) membranes and related technologies.
• Product manufacturing experience is required.
• On-site work in Albany, Oregon (100%) is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FO membrane production, ensuring quality and performance.
• Lead design, development, and scale-up of FO membrane modules.
• Coordinate element rolling at partner facilities.
• Test FO processes to validate performance and reliability.
• Support sizing and engineering of FO systems for commercial/pilot use.
• Provide technical direction to engineering staff on membrane systems.
