Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Metal Membrane team in Bedford, MA. You will support operations and process engineering, run validation tests, work with powders, and collect data for gas filters.

You will troubleshoot issues, operate equipment, assist with new product development, and help maintain SOPs and quality systems, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and EH&S. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; strong mechanical aptitude.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or R&D.
• Experience handling powdered metals safely (handling, storage, disposal).
• Able to execute tasks independently after training with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with systematic records and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to support membrane development and process issues.
• Perform membrane characterization and testing per procedures.
• Troubleshoot routine process and equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Assist engineering team with processes, validations, quality, and efficiencies.
• Assist with new product development with NPI and R&D for pilot work.
