Job summary

YMCA of Indiana County is seeking a friendly, dependable Membership Services Representative (MSR) to join our team. The MSR serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing a welcoming experience while assisting with memberships, registrations, and payments.

Under the direction of the Membership Coordinator, the MSR promotes YMCA programs and services, maintains a clean front desk, and supports events and initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or pursuit thereof.
• Experience in customer service or front desk is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle payments and registrations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members, guests, and participants in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide information about YMCA programs, memberships, schedules, and facility operations.
• Process memberships, registrations, payments, refunds, and other transactions accurately.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries, directing questions as needed.
• Promote YMCA programs, events, and services to engage members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Monitor check-in procedures and uphold membership policies.
• Support events, promotions, and YMCA initiatives.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; perform additional duties as assigned.

The MSR serves as the first point of contact for YMCA members, guests, and program participants, creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.Under the direction of the Membership Coordinator, this position provides exceptional customer service by assisting with memberships, program registrations, facility access, payments, and general member questions.
