Located in the prestigious Gold Coast, directly across from historic Holy Name Cathedral, The Alston will offer an opulent and unparalleled private members club experience in Chicago. Our members will enjoy world-class amenities, exceptional service, and curated opportunities to connect, network, and celebrate life.

We are seeking our first Membership Sales Manager to assist in the building of our club's prestige and enroll new members that fit the style and prestige of our club, from within Chicago and across the country. This individual will play a critical role in signing up our first 100 members, managing member relationships, ensuring seamless service, and contributing to the club's continued success.

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE:

  • MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and onboard high-caliber members (C-suite).
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective members to ensure alignment with the club’s values and standards.
  • Monitor member satisfaction and implement initiatives to enhance retention.
  • Manage membership accounts, including applications, renewals, and billing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of club services and events.
  • Analyze membership trends and provide recommendations to improve offerings and enhance member satisfaction.
  • Generate new business through business development and conducting tours.
  • MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all member inquiries prior to opening while working closely with the rest of the membership and operations team.
  • Organize exclusive events, programs, and networking opportunities to foster connections and engagement.
  • Tailor experiences and introductions to match members' interests, professions, and goals.
  • NETWORKING & EVENT PLANNING
  • Plan ONE event per month for members, creativity is a must.
  • Establish connections among members by identifying shared interests and facilitating introductions.
  • Work with members to plan individual events and help elevate the overall experience for their guests.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to build and grow your personal book of business.
  • BRAND REPRESENTATION
  • Represent the club at external events, acting as an ambassador to promote its prestige and attract prospective members.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism, reflecting the club's elite standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in membership management, hospitality, luxury services, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' of experience in sales
