Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is seeking a Membership Director Floater to support branches with open positions and staff leave. You will oversee membership operations, including revenue, sales, retention, and service, while creating reports for the Executive Director and guiding front desk activities.

The role requires 1-2 years in YMCA or similar, with strong sales, leadership, and analytical skills. This position is based in Coppell, TX, with opportunities to impact multiple branches.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in YMCA or a membership-based health and wellness organization.
• Background in membership sales and customer service.
• Strong member engagement, communication, and staff leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Office 365, and data software systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver membership and program reports for the branch Executive Director.
• Review and analyze membership data, identify trends, and communicate findings to the branch Executive Director.
• Serve as interim Membership Director at branches, overseeing all aspects of membership operations.
• Lead and support Member Services staff, including hiring and training when needed.
• Ensure accurate billing, drafts, and payments related to membership and services if needed.
• Achieve monthly revenue, expense, and net budget goals.
• Oversee the front desk and work shifts at the front desk if needed.
• Highlight, plan, and execute opportunities for member engagement and retention.
