Job summary

The West Essex YMCA is seeking a Membership Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for membership development, sales, retention, engagement, and service across the branch. You will work with branch and association leadership to drive growth and align efforts with the YMCA's mission.

The role focuses on strengthening the member experience, managing programs, and delivering data-driven improvements to membership metrics and overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's preferred in Business, Recreation, Marketing, Communications.
• 3yrs leadership experience, 2yrs staff supervision.
• Experience with SGA Pulse preferred.
• Emphasis on customer service, sales, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPR/AED and First Aid required.
