Job summary

The Quin House is a premier private social club in Boston's Back Bay, seeking a Membership Recruitment and Sales leader to drive growth and elevate the member experience. The role blends strategic outreach, relationship-building, and innovative programming in a luxury hospitality context.

You will develop partnerships, present to prospective members, and host events while leveraging CRM data to inform strategy and reporting. Strong sales and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, recruiting, business development, or membership management, preferably in luxury hospitality or private club settings.
  • Sales acumen with proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiation capabilities; proficient with CRM and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted strategies to attract high-caliber members aligned with the club's ethos.
  • Identify and cultivate prospective members through research, outreach, and strategic partnerships with organizations, businesses, and community groups.
  • Conduct membership presentations, tours, and interviews to prospective members, delivering a compelling value proposition.
  • Host and participate in events and networking activities to promote the club and its membership offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members to enhance satisfaction and drive retention.
  • Network with influential individuals and organizations to generate referrals and foster a robust community.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and support member engagement initiatives, including events, meetups, and mixers.
  • Partner with Marketing to create compelling campaigns that highlight the club's features and brand.

The Membership Development Manager is a pivotal role in driving membership growth for the club. This position focuses on creating strategic partnerships, developing innovative outreach campaigns, managing administrative tasks, and fostering a vibrant member community that aligns with the club’s mission and values. Membership Recruitment and Sales

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and support member engagement initiatives, including events, meetups, and mixers.
Marketing and Branding
  • Partner with the Marketing team to create and implement compelling campaigns that highlight the club’s unique features.
  • Represent the club at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements, upholding its brand identity and values.
  • Develop innovative marketing collateral and communication strategies to attract and retain members.
Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Monitor membership trends, including recruitment and retention metrics, to inform strategy.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, membership growth, and market trends.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records of membership data, sales activities, and campaign outcomes.
Strategy and Innovation
  • Conduct market research to identify target demographics and trends in the luxury/social club industry
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of membership processes and offerings
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain and update membership databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Handle routine correspondence, inquiries, and follow-ups with members and prospective members.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all operations.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
