The Sanctuary Golf & Social Club in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Membership Coordinator who will own relationship momentum after the sale and guide onboarding and ongoing engagement to ensure new members renew, refer, and belong here.
You will work with the Front Desk Concierge team to uphold standards for guest capture, onboarding logistics, and proactive outreach, while driving retention and a welcoming, club-first experience.
Brentwood, TN · The Sanctuary Golf & Social Club
The Sanctuary Golf & Social Club is a private membership club in Brentwood, TN built around something most places are unable to manufacture: genuine connection.
What holds all of that together isn’t the amenities. It’s the relationships. The reason members renew, refer, and keep coming back is because the people here know them and genuinely care.
As Membership Coordinator, you own relationship momentum after the sale. Membership sales gets a member in the door. What happens in the first 60 days, and every day after that, is yours. You are the single most strategically important seat on the front line, because you are the one who decides, through the work you do, whether a member renews, refers, and actually belongs here.
The Front Desk Concierge team’s day to day performance is part of what you’re measured on. You don’t run their schedule, but you own the standard: shift audits, guest capture, and team activity all roll up to you.
What You Are Not Responsible For
Membership sales has a dedicated owner. Your lane starts the moment a new member signs. Food and beverage, events, and golf operations each have their own owners. Your job is the relationship, from onboarding through renewal, and within that, you own it completely.
You genuinely like people, and you remember things about them without being told to. You notice when someone hasn’t been in for a few weeks before anyone points it out, and you don’t wait for a system to tell you to reach out.
You’re organized enough to run onboarding logistics and a waitlist without dropping anything, and warm enough that members feel looked after rather than managed.
You take real ownership of a number, not just a task list, and you understand that retention is not luck, it’s the accumulation of a hundred small things done consistently.
You hold a team standard without needing to run the team, because your credibility comes from the work, not the title.
A year from now, voluntary attrition is at or below 8%, and trending toward the excellent range under 5%.
Every member who goes quiet for 30 days gets a real outreach within a week, and most of them come back.
New members complete onboarding and are still showing up at 60 days, not fading out after the initial excitement.
Requests are acknowledged within the hour and resolved within a day, as a rule, not an exception.
And the Concierge team’s day to day holds a standard members notice, because you built it that way.
This role offers a base salary of $45,000 to $50,000, based on experience. Add quarterly bonus, paid four times a year instead of once, and total compensation reaches up to $60,000 in year one.
The Sanctuary is a proven concept with a membership that is deeply loyal, and ownership is now executing a major expansion into new markets. The people who come in at the flagship location now will work directly with the ownership group, help define what The Sanctuary looks and feels like at scale, and have real opportunity to grow as the organization does.
This isn’t a corporate brand operated from a distance. It’s an ownership team that is present, invested, and building something they believe in. If you’re looking for a role where your work matters, where the members know your name, the team wants to be here, and the place has a heartbeat, then this is worth a conversation.
