• 2–5 years of high-volume call center or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective telephone etiquette.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced call center environment.
• Solid math and basic accounting skills.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email.
• General understanding of financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls and respond to member questions professionally.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
• Research and resolve documentation errors or discrepancies.
• Escalate complex issues to a Team Lead or management for review.
• Provide information on Credit Union policies, procedures and programs.
• Provide complete information about accounts, payments, interest rates, product options and savings programs.
• Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services to build relationships.
• Perform basic account maintenance and processing of loan payments.
• Assist in servicing loans by processing payoff, inquiries, and address changes.
• Liaise between members and other departments and follow through on resolutions.
• Promote strong working relationships within the organization in line with values.
