Job summary

Allegiance Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Floating Member Specialist at the Alianza Branch. The role supports member service across phone, digital, lobby, drive-thru and teller channels, handling transactions and new accounts.

Role

Responsible for providing excellent member serviceexperience across multiple service channels, including telephone, digital,lobby, drive-thru, and teller services. Assists members and potential memberswith financial transactions, account inquiries, account maintenance, and a widevariety of products and services. Identifies member needs and recommendsappropriate financial solutions that may improve the member's financialwell-being. Courteously and promptly resolves member questions and problems or properlyrefers them to the appropriate department. Attendance is an essential functionof performing the duties of this job.

MajorDuties and Responsibilities

• 55% - Provides professional and courteous assistanceto members across telephone, online, video, and in-person service channelswhile accurately processing member financial transactions, including deposits,withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, money orders, and VISA giftcards. Maintains responsibility for balancing the cash drawer and dailytransaction activity in accordance with established procedures.
• 25% - Conducts new account functions, includingshare, share draft, IRAs and certificates; explains various account andownership options, providing the necessary counseling to meet member's needsand obtains the required information and documentation. Prepares all documentsand paperwork; assists members with completing forms. Prepares and reviews allnew account documentation for accuracy and compliance, forwarding to auditingin a timely manner.
• 20% - Identify members’ needs and promote andcross-sell credit union products and services.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Performs other job-relatedduties as assigned.
