Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking team members to provide exceptional member service at the Normal, IL location. You will operate front-end equipment, assist with purchases, and guide members on self-service options while promoting Sam's Club products and services.

What you'll do

• Maintains entrance areas; acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
• Assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment.
• Maintains exit areas; reviews member receipts; acknowledges the member and identifies member needs.
• Assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executes emergency response procedures; ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
• Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures; teaches new technology and tool functionality; delivers new programs rollout training; provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*

• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
