Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises in Dallas is seeking an entry-level Member Specialist to assist AAA members with insurance and membership services. Paid training is provided to help you interface confidently with members and reach cross-selling goals.

You will work in a team, deliver excellent service, and have opportunities for advancement, skill-based pay increases, and monthly bonuses. Local travel may be required, and branch hours are Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or similar customer service environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel locally as needed.
• Proven ability to meet sales or service quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Interact with AAA members to provide insurance and membership services.
• Support agents and team members with routine and advanced duties.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and specialists.
• Adhere to branch hours: Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm.

This is an exciting entry level position in our branch network and ideal for candidates interested working in a teamwork environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

In this role you will:

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals.

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. We are closed weekends and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or similar customer service/sales environment
• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to qualify for Property and Casualty License
