Job summary

SAFE Federal Credit Union Inc. in Sumter, SC is seeking a friendly teller to serve members, handle deposits and withdrawals, and cross-sell services. You will operate the teller platform or drive-thru windows and balance cash daily.

Under supervision, you will open/close terminal, process money orders, wires, and card payments, and ensure security procedures are followed. Strong communication and accuracy are essential to meet branch goals and provide great member service.

Responsibilities

• Sells/cross sells services to meet goals.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Handles loan payments and related fees.
• Maintains balancing ratio and researches outages.
• Completes forms for Western Unions, wires, CTRs and SARs.
• Processes Shared Branching transactions per protocol.
• Follows security procedures for branch operations.
• Provides money orders, teller checks, credit card cash advances.
• Processes loan advances and manages cash tab.
• Opens/closes terminal and accounts for cash handling.
• Other duties as assigned.
