Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative in San Diego to greet members and guests, manage front desk activities, and promote memberships and tanning lotions. You will help new members sign up, check them in, and guide tours, contributing to an upbeat, judgment-free club environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR Certification AED/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Enforce the Judgement Free zone.
• Always smile and be courteous.
• Take prospects on tours.
• Handle all front desk activities: answer phones, check members into the system, sign up new members, take tours, assist with PF Mobile App.
• Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and elevate as needed.
• Perform assigned cleaning tasks.
• Promote sales of tanning lotions and memberships.
• Create connections with the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing an exceptional customer experience.

  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.

• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Completed assigned cleaning areas.
• Promotes sales of Tanning lotions and Memberships.
• Create connections with the community!

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the club phone during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
