Schedule: Monday - Friday evenings from 4pm/5pm until close, a couple of nights per week

Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour

The Member Services Representative is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to all members, callers, volunteers, and visitors to the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley.

1. Welcoming members and guests with a warm smile, using their names, and expressing gratitude for their patronage.
2. Asking questions, actively listening, and providing facility tours to help prospective members find suitable membership and program options.
3. Building relationships with members and fostering connections within our YMCA community.
4. Utilizing our operations software for member check-ins, program and membership registration, and payment processing.
5. Staying knowledgeable about YMCA programs and services to assist members effectively.
6. Handling membership and safety concerns, addressing issues promptly and appropriately.

We seek candidates who demonstrate the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and who align with our mission. Candidates must be able to obtain CPR/AED/FA certification (classes provided through the YMCA). Requirements include being 18 years or older, able to stand and/or sit for at least 4 hours daily, lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, and navigate the facility comfortably. Good communication, hearing, and visual abilities are also necessary.
