Position: Weekend Overnight Supervisor

Reports to: General Manager (GM)/ Assistant Manager (AM)

Department: Operations

Purpose: Supervise and manage club operations overnight in a designated location, ensuring club is operating in compliance with Excel and Planet Fitness policies, practices and objectives.

Since 2016, we have grown from 16 locations in TX to over 80 locations in 6 states in great markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We are opening 10+ new clubs a year and with that kind of growth, you can build a great career here!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
  2. Check members into the system.
  3. Take prospective members on tours then assist them with the new account sign-up process.
  4. Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
  5. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
  6. Detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
  7. Close shift for that business day.
  8. Create a bank deposit for next day.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
  • People with positive mental attitudes excel here!
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
