Salary Pay Range for This Position:

$23.05 - $32.32

Position Summary:

This role primarily assists members with accurate transactions and account information, establishing memberships, share accounts, and other deposit products. It involves assessing member needs, completing documentation, data entry, and serving as the initial contact point. Responsibilities include promoting member engagement, providing information on products and services, and referring members for mortgage and home equity products.

Essential Position Functions:
  1. Follow cash control guidelines to safeguard assets.
  2. Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, adhering to policies and regulations.
  3. Maintain daily cash limits, balance cash, and research discrepancies.
  4. Provide high-quality service, focusing on member satisfaction and adhering to Wescom standards.
  5. Handle member inquiries and promote products and services through referrals.
  6. Participate in teller and platform activities, including loan processing and account management.
  7. Identify and report potential fraud.
  8. Produce accurate work with minimal errors.
  9. Build relationships and identify member needs, collaborating with business partners for referrals.
  10. Support coin and cash machine servicing when needed.
  11. Process loan applications and assist with deposit products, maintaining proficiency in fiduciary processes and notary services.
  12. Meet personal development and training objectives, including completing Wescom University courses and obtaining Notary Public designation.
  13. Potentially advance to Member Services Representative II upon completing required training and licensing.
  14. Maintain proficiency in technology applications and promote their use to members.
  15. Ensure compliance with audit, security, and confidentiality standards.
  16. Control and balance cash drawer, verify signatures, and adhere to balancing standards.
  17. Communicate effectively, maintain professional appearance, and ensure a positive physical environment.
  18. Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.
Registration:

Obtain licensing as Notary Public.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized software.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, rates, ratios, and percentages.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, and other physical activities. Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include various visual acuities.

Work Environment:

Moderately quiet, non-smoking environment. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
