This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for mailroom and document retention services at the Credit Union. Team members are cross-trained to perform various duties and will be assigned specific responsibilities on a rotational basis based upon operational needs and schedules.

What you'll do
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming, outgoing and returned mail and packages
  • Operate and maintain the postage metering system as well as the letter folder/stuffer equipment
  • Track and log documents, postage and packages using an electronic tracking system and computer software
  • Work directly with all parcel delivery services and assist all Credit Union departments with mail services
  • Maintain the copy paper supply and fulfill branch supply orders
  • Order the delivery and pickup of documents from the off-site storage facility
  • Receive, enter and maintain documents in the imaging system and at the off-site storage facility in accordance with the company’s retention and destruction policies
  • Assist users with research requests for documents and packages
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account and related information and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

  • Experience in computer skills and data-entry

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Ability to learn and utilize other software tools necessary for the role

  • Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Self-motivated with strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
