We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! As a staff member, you will provide exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding "Judgement Free" experience. BILINGUAL English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply!

Some responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
   • Greet members and guests, providing outstanding customer service to make everyone feel welcome.
   • Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries.
   • Check members in, give tours, sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
   • Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns.
   • Handle beverage or merchandise sales via the point of sale system.
   • Use POS system for new membership cards, address changes, and billing/payment questions.
2. Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
   • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk and lobby.
   • Perform regular cleaning and upkeep, including mopping, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
   • Clean all exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
   • Maintain restroom and wet area cleanliness and stock supplies.
3. Qualifications & Requirements:
   • Applicants for overnight positions must pass a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; continued employment depends on satisfactory results.
   • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and staff.
   • Prior customer service experience preferred.
   • Must be 18 years or older.
   • High school diploma or GED required.
   • Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude.
   • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
   • Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification and be physically capable of performing CPR/AED if needed.
4. Physical Demands:
   • Stand, walk, and perform physical activities such as stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
   • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
   • Speak continuously in person or on the phone.
   • Maintain ability to administer CPR in emergencies.
   • Good vision and hearing, with or without correction.
