Member Services Rep Part Time Afternoons

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning or related tasks, re-inspecting as needed.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and point of sale systems accurately.
• Ensure members adhere to company policies and guidelines, addressing infractions appropriately.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate effectively with members to deliver high-quality service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the upcoming shift.
• Understand and adhere to company standards; assist in resolving member issues.
• Audit club inventory and collaborate with GM, AM, and Shift Lead on inventory orders.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and training.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Promote the club, give tours, and assist prospects and potential members.
• Assist the GM and AM with membership promotions, training, and operational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities, following all procedures.
• Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certifications are required before working alone; uncertified team members will have 30 days to complete training.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
• Familiarity with Excel's mission, values, vision, culture, and the Planet Fitness brand.

Additional Information

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment is a fitness club with typical noise levels and requires physical activity, including lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally. Work hours vary based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. No travel is expected.
