Responsibilities

1. Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
2. Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
3. Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
4. Ensure all proper training has been completed for safe and efficient operation.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure the club meets Excel standards.
6. Perform club walkarounds, complete cleaning tasks, and re-inspect.
7. Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
8. Input and update member information into tablets and POS systems.
9. Ensure members adhere to policies and address infractions.
10. Provide a safe environment for all members.
11. Communicate effectively with members to deliver high-level service.
12. Stock retail and janitorial items for the next shift.
13. Resolve day-to-day member issues in line with company standards.
14. Audit club inventory and coordinate with management on orders.
15. Maintain up-to-date certifications and training.
16. Participate in team meetings.
17. Promote and assist prospects and potential members.
18. Support club promotions, training, and operational strategies with management.
19. Ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
20. Assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, and other amenities, following procedures.
21. Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certifications required before working alone; training available within 30 days if uncertified.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented, motivated, organized.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.

Additional Information

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Work environment: fitness club with standard office and custodial equipment; noise may be loud.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, and various visual requirements.
• Position may be full-time or part-time, with hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Travel: 0% expected.
