GA Mountains YMCA in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Part-Time Member Services- Opener to deliver excellent service to members, guests and program participants. You will promote memberships, greet and assist members, and keep the lobby area clean and organized.

The role requires CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days, plus strong interpersonal skills and prior customer service or sales experience. The ideal candidate connects well with diverse groups and uses basic computer tools effectively.

Formación

Member Services- Opener

Salary Range: $12.31 To $14.77 Hourly

Position Summary:

Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.

Essential Functions:

• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Interviews and/or tours prospective members; sells memberships.
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA.
• Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
• Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services.
• May monitor the locker rooms as required.
• Uses technology systems efficiently and effectively to promote member retention.
