$15.00 – $16.00/hour

Summary

Power Wellness serves hospitals, healthcare systems, universities, and community colleges with varying portfolios. We provide a comprehensive menu of services to plan, create, develop, and manage an inviting, customized, and economically self-sustaining fitness and wellness center.

The Member Services Associate is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to members, guests, and prospects of the facility, as well as membership information, enrollment procedures, ongoing customer satisfaction, and membership recruitment and retention.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversee interactions at the service desk including opening and closing procedures, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, guest registration and fees, student and college guest passes, check-in guests/members for all scheduled appointments, accept member feedback, accept and return lost and found items, guest/member check-in, and provide information about scheduled activities and events including sign-up and fees if applicable.
  • Promote and effectively sell memberships and all ancillary services including personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services.
  • Schedule all appointments via core business software (Compete), including reminder calls, cancellations, and notifying associates of appointments per policy.
  • Know all opening and closing procedures, including balancing of cash drawers from daily sales, proper credit card and check policies, and use of cash drawer.
  • Enroll members via contracts, explain membership details, obtain signatures and payments, and provide member handbooks.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments via radio as needed.
  • Work towards achieving satisfaction metrics such as Secret Shops and Member Survey scores related to member and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month to ensure job performance.
  • Stand for the length of shifts (generally 3-6 hours).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
  • 2-3 years of sales, reception, and computer skills preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work positively with members.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism.
  • Proficient computer skills.
