Job description

This position is for the following shifts:The Member Services Representative must demonstrate a personal commitment to themission of the YMCA. This position requires a person who must demonstrate an abilityto work effectively with people and be a team member. This position requires goodorganizational skills, strong human relation skills, general knowledge of businessprocedures, good communication skills (verbal and written), willingness to adapt tochange and knowledge about YMCA operational procedures and programs. This personmust have sales experience, a working knowledge of operating computers, must bedressed in uniform, friendly, and exhibit good health habits. The ability to establish andmaintain harmonious relationship with staff, volunteers, members and community isessential.• Must be at least 18 years old.• Must be polite, cheerful and have ability to work with others.• Must be able to work when scheduled or find a replacement.• Must be responsible enough and tactful to maintain control in building.• Must be current in CPR & First Aid or equivalent and stay current.• You must know emergency procedures.• Must believe in the YMCA Mission and Purpose.
