Job Description

As a Member Service Specialist, you will be a part of our 100% remote Contact Center team and responsible for answering and handling incoming calls from Prime members, pharmacies, and doctors’ offices. You will provide support and assistance to our callers to help them get the medicine they need to feel better and live well. This opportunity will help build your customer service skills and knowledge for a career in healthcare.

This is a Full Time work from home position and you will be eligible for our benefits on the first of the month after your start date.

Position Requirements
  • Must have dedicated, secure high-speed internet (cable, DSL, or fiber). No wireless or 5G home internet connections.
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Ability to adhere to a pre-determined schedule, including planned breaks.
  • Dedicated home workspace that is private, quiet, and free of interruptions, with a lockable door.
  • Availability for a 6 to 8-week training class.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls/emails regarding medication and benefits.
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries or escalate as needed.
  • Follow HIPAA and departmental procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Suitable home office setup meeting Prime standards.
  • Strong PC navigation skills.
  • Excellent communication and empathy.
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Call center experience, especially in healthcare.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Sit for 6+ hours/day.
  • Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Reporting Structure
  • Reports to the Contact Center Supervisor.
