Job summary

ICCU is seeking a Member Service Specialist to be the first face members see when they walk through our branches in Washington. You will provide courteous service, share information about credit union products, and guide members toward solutions that support their financial goals.

The MSS role emphasizes the ability to learn various channels and systems, handle cash accurately, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ICCU values in daily interactions for a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and use a calculator accurately.
• Able to learn multiple channels and systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of credit union records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure member satisfaction with courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
• Provide general information about our Credit Union Services.
• Refer members to products and services that will assist them in achieving financial success.

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
• Providing general information to members about our Credit Union Services.
• Referring members to products and services that will assist them in achieving financial success.
• Learning a variety of channels and systems to perform member transactions.
• Utilizing resources to resolve member concerns on the first contact.
• Informing your manager of member needs regarding our products and services.
• Demonstrating our core values of Honesty and Integrity, Respect and Dignity, Growth and Performance, and Improvement and Accountability in your behavior at work.

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to use a calculator and handle cash efficiently and accurately.

• Knowledge of the Financial Industry.
• Prior Experience in a Customer Service role.

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
