Somerset Hills YMCA seeks a friendly, administratively focused Member Service Representative responsible for serving members, guests, and program participants courteously and promptly. You will build relationships as an ambassador of the Y’s welcoming culture and support our Cause-Driven initiatives through problem-solving and administrative tasks, serving our branch’s 10,000+ members.

Essential Functions

The primary responsibility is to ensure members have "the best hour of their day" from entry to farewell, providing an exceptional experience. This position is fully on-site, not remote.

Qualifications

• At least three years of member/customer service, hospitality, or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn our database system.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with multi-tasking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work as part of a team, remain flexible, reliable, and adaptable.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Fundraising and bilingual/multicultural experience are pluses.

Flexible part-time hours available, especially on weekends.
