Role Description The Member Service Representative (various levels) is a full-time, on-site role located in various areas of St. Louis and St. Charles Counties. This position supports members with day-to-day banking needs, including processing transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, and answering questions about products and services. The role involves providing clear, courteous assistance in person and over the phone, resolving issues, and helping members understand and select appropriate financial solutions. The Member Service Representative will use computer systems to access account information, document interactions, and follow established policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. This role contributes to a positive branch environment by collaborating with team members and actively promoting the credit union’s values and offerings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills for interacting with members in person and by phone.
• Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette skills to handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally and efficiently.
• Candidates should possess reliable Computer Literacy skills to navigate banking systems, enter data accurately, and use standard office software.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance to explain basic financial products, services, and account features.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in banking or credit unions, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, dependability, and a high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or finance is a plus).
