Position: Member Service Rep

Saturday & Sunday 2pm-7:30pm

We are searching for a motivated Member Service Rep to join our team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility and providing a positive member experience. You will also deliver a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” environment. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
   • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floor according to Planet Fitness standards.
   • Stock locker rooms with supplies and paper products.
   • Properly dispose of trash.
   • Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
   • Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and return lost property.
   • Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
2. Qualifications and Requirements:
   • Applicants for overnight positions must undergo a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire. Employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
   • Custodial experience is preferred.
   • Punctuality, reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are essential.
   • Ability to solve problems independently and demonstrate diplomacy in interactions.
   • High School diploma or GED required.
   • Must be 18 years or older.
3. Physical Demands and Environment:
   • Work involves indoor and outdoor environments, with travel between sites.
   • Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, weather, and hazards.
   • Must be physically capable of walking, standing, sitting, and performing physical tasks including lifting over 80 lbs.
   • Ability to communicate verbally and administer CPR if needed.
   • Normal visual and audio capabilities are required.
