Position: Member Service Rep

We are searching for a motivated Member Service Rep to join our team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility and ensuring a positive member experience. You will also provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, guaranteeing an exceptional “Judgement Free” environment.

Responsibilities

1. Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
   • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floor following Planet Fitness standards.
   • Stock locker rooms with supplies and paper products.
   • Properly dispose of trash.
   • Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
   • Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and return lost property promptly.
   • Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
2. Qualifications and Requirements:
   • Applicants for overnight positions must undergo a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
   • Custodial experience preferred.
   • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
   • Honesty and strong work ethic.
   • Ability to solve problems independently.
   • Diplomatic in all interactions, with appropriate behavior and language.
   • High School diploma/GED required.
   • Must be 18 years or older.
3. Physical Demands and Environment:
   • Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
   • Travel between sites.
   • Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, weather, and mechanical hazards.
   • Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and lift over 80 lbs.
   • Ability to communicate verbally and administer CPR if needed.
   • Normal vision and hearing with or without correction.
