About the Role:

The Member Service Officer plays a critical role in fostering positive relationships between the credit union and its members by delivering exceptional customer service and support at our branches. This position is responsible for addressing member inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless experience that promotes member satisfaction and loyalty. The role requires a thorough understanding of the organization’s products, services, and policies to provide accurate information and guidance. The Member Service Officer will collaborate with various internal departments to facilitate member requests and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position focuses on enhancing member engagement and retention through professional, courteous, and timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service or member support role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with CRM software or similar systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working in a financial institution, credit union, or membership-based organization.

• Conflict resolution and problem-solving training or certification.
