Bishop MSC – Bishop, CA 93514. Full Time Exempt. Salary $72,450.00 - $95,220.00.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies, and work rules.
• Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate.
• Ensure branch achieves assigned loan production goal.
• Ensure all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day and oversee individual accountability for handling cash and resolving balancing outages.
• Ensure member requests and questions are promptly resolved and handle member complaints.
• Ensure branch personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs, complete orientation of new employees, actively participate in cross‑training, keep staff abreast of products and services, and conduct security training.
• Monitor closely industry trends in lending and deposit operations to feed research and development activities and assure that the company’s products, services, and processes remain competitive.
• Manage and oversee expenses.
• Act as Primary Security Officer for the branch, conduct required security meetings, open and close the building in accordance with set hours, and test security equipment quarterly.
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance of office building, grounds, equipment, and fixtures.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• May be responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and staff management of multiple branch locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience – Five to ten years of similar or related experience, including time in preparatory positions.
• Education / Certifications / Licenses – A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
• Interpersonal Skills – Significant level of trust and diplomacy required; adept at in‑depth dialogues, conversations, and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports, and outside vendors on sensitive and confidential matters; able to motivate, influence, educate, and advise others.
• ADA / Physical Requirements – Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion, lift up to 20 lbs, climb/descend stairs in emergency, operate routine office equipment, routinely use computer 6‑8 hours per day, work extended hours when required, travel by automobile, commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Working Conditions – Perform primarily indoors in a climate‑controlled private office with minimal noise.
• Other Requirements – Independently perform job functions, effectively manage own and others’ work activities, follow written and oral instructions, speak clearly, perform accurate basic mathematical calculations, handle multiple priorities and confidential matters with discretion, and provide high‑level customer service.
