Moonlight Basin is hiring a Lounge Attendant for the Member's Lounge in Big Sky, MT. You will greet members, prepare coffee beverages, maintain lounge areas, and answer questions about the menu while delivering exceptional hospitality in a scenic, seasonally busy setting.

The Opportunity

Lounge Attendants are responsible for providing food and beverage support to members in the Member's Lounge. This individual must possess exceptional interpersonal skills for interfacing with members and staff, and takes pride in helping ensure complete member satisfaction on every visit.

• Welcome members and ensure friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service in the lounge.
• Prepare coffee drinks (espresso, caffe latte, cappuccino, and similar beverages) following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
• Maintain service areas and the lounge area, refilling or replenishing items as needed or requested.
• Answer basic questions about food and wine products and preparations from the menu, when needed.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
• Complete assigned side duties each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for interfacing with members and staff.
• Detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on tasks to completion.
• Committed to ensuring complete member satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English, the primary language used in the work environment.
• Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol.
• Must comply with Moonlight Basin's grooming standards.
• Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work the full season.

Working Conditions

This position works primarily indoors in the Member's Lounge, characterized by a typical hospitality environment with moderate temperatures and noise levels. Work hours vary by shift and include weekends and holidays. Full-season availability is required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and lift 40 pounds on a regular and continuing basis, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, as well as visual acuity.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously while communicating with members, supervisors, and other employees.
