Job summary

Empeople Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Officer (Teller) to deliver exceptional service while processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions in the branch lobby. You will educate members on digital banking and self-service tools, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all activities.

The role requires greeting members, resolving inquiries, and promoting financial wellness programs, with weekend availability and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with two years of teller, customer service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to operate a PC with Microsoft Office and the Credit Union’s financial software systems.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to analyze member needs and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet members as they enter the branch lobby and assist with their needs.
• Educate members about products and self-service options (digital banking, eDeposit, bill pay, ATMs).
• Handle all account servicing requests and conduct deposits, transactions, and inquiries.
• Resolve member questions within authority or escalate as needed to Branch Operations Manager.
• Maintain daily cash handling, balancing, and branch security procedures.
• Provide Notary services to members and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
