Position Summary

As a Member Relationship Associate II (MRA II) at Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact on our members' financial lives. Through personalized guidance, lending solutions, and trusted advice, you'll help members navigate important financial decisions and achieve their goals with confidence.

In this role, you'll leverage your previous experience to deepen member relationships, working independently to assist with more complex financial needs, facilitate loan origination, and identify solutions that support our members' long-term financial wellness. You'll also serve as a resource for teammates, sharing knowledge and helping contribute to a collaborative, member-focused branch environment where every interaction matters.

Salary Range

Base Annual Salary Range: $51,300 ($24.66/hour) - $64,575 ($31.05/hour)

The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Essential Duties

• Create exceptional member experiences by building trusted relationships and delivering personalized financial solutions.
• Assist members with consumer lending, new account opening, account servicing, and other financial needs while providing accurate and efficient service.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through products, services, and solutions that support financial well-being.
• Serve as a resource for team members by sharing knowledge, assisting with training, and supporting complex member situations.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• 4+ years of work experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of consumer and residential lending, deposit products, account servicing, and member relationship management.
• Math, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in touch-typing, using computer applications and business equipment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• 4+ years of related experience in retail banking, financial services, lending, or a related field.
• Experience with credit union loan services, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated success achieving lending, referral, or member relationship goals.
• Knowledge of consumer lending documentation, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supporting team members.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
