Job description

Members of Technical Staff at Anterior own problems end-to-end—from system design through to production. You’ll own the infrastructure that powers clinical decision‑making at scale.

Responsibilities

• Scaling and hardening our AWS infrastructure to meet growing enterprise demand
• Analyzing request logs, debugging event streams, and improving system reliability
• Designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI platform
• Helping us migrate off CDKTF—if you’ve done this before, we want to talk to you
• Building internal tooling to automate workflows and increase team leverage
• Writing evaluations to identify weaknesses and drive improvements in our LLM‑powered systems
• Working across the stack when needed—from backend services to frontend—to ship complete solutions
• Contributing to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and platform architecture

Qualifications

• Deep experience in the infrastructure layer—scaling systems, managing cloud infrastructure, building reliable distributed architectures
• Designed and operated production infrastructure on AWS, not just used managed services
• On‑call experience and debugging production issues under pressure; designed for reliability
• Background from a platform/infra team at a large tech company, a DevOps‑heavy role at a scale‑up, or any environment with a serious AWS footprint

Tech Stack

• Languages: Python / Go / TS, React (and HTMX if you can help!)
• Infrastructure: Nix, AWS (currently on CDKTF—actively looking to migrate, bonus points if you’ve done this before)

Compensation Range: $170K - $270K
