Job Description

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Member of Technical Staff.

Position type: Direct hire
Duration: FTE
Location: REMOTE (candidates must reside in US or Canada); Ottawa is preferred

As a(n) Member of Technical Staff:

The successful candidate will join a highly skilled "Helix Virtualization Platform" development team delivering mission critical Real-Time Operating System for avionics and automotive applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver high quality design and code.
2. Develop and deliver high quality documentation used for DO-178 certification evidence.
3. Ability to review DO-178 artifacts and provide guidance to conform to Certification standards.
4. Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
5. Participate in all aspects of the software development process using Agile development.

Qualifications:

1. BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
2. 10 years of C or C++ in software development.
3. Strong analytical skills in the C programming language.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Excellent programming skills using Python and Linux shell scripts.
6. Strong analytical and debugging skills.
7. Experience with RTOS software development is a plus.
8. Familiarity with iterative and agile/scrum software development processes.
9. Certification experience is a plus.
10. ARM/Intel/RISC-V SoC Experience is a plus.
11. Experience with Virtualization is advantageous.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: $120K – 170K
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
