We are looking for experienced staff engineers. You will be responsible for core product contributions, rapid prototyping, and production release concerns.

As a post-Series B startup, you are expected to provide technical excellence in engineering and to guide product, marketing, and design partners in prototyping, testing, and launching products. You will also focus on increasing internal efficiency by paying down tech debt and architecting scalable solutions. At Kikoff, we launch quickly—adaptability is key, and results matter. You should be able to make good business trade-offs and conduct thoughtful analyses, such as deciding when to launch now or later, and whether to double down or cut projects.

Our mission is to create fair, effective, and simple financial pathways to help 100M Americans reach their financial goals. Our investors include Lightspeed, Coatue, and GGV. Our founders are serial entrepreneurs who have co-founded and served as C-suite executives at three FinTech unicorns.

Requirements
  • You are comfortable growing at high rates of growth.
  • You have a B.A., B.S., M.S., or strong self-taught fundamentals in computer science.
  • 7+ years of industry experience with demonstrated technical impact and judgment.
  • You can analyze data and distill information for business purposes.
  • You demonstrate effectiveness through problem-solving skills outside your expertise.
  • You desire to build strong professional bonds with startup-forward coworkers.
